For the fifth time, Format Agency assisted Danish Energy Association with conceptualizing, coordinating and executing its annual Energy Summit. The Energy Summit served as a hub for sharing insights and research development results to important actors within the energy industry as well as politicians, in order to affect the political agenda and mark the Danish energy industry as frontrunner for responsible energy consumption. To ensure relevant content, Format created a voting-concept, that allowed participants to express their opinion about certain subjects during the summit. The gathered information was then used as content in one of the breakouts. Every participants received a depeche upon arrival, which was used to vote and also acted as a symbol for the overall theme Release the Energy (Giv energien videre).
The summit included 28 exhibitor stands, a networking area with sleek, made-to-order furniture, two breakout rooms and a plenary room that were transformed into a breakout room. Compared to previous years, Format strived to create a physical presentation frame, based on a analogue mind-set, although it should have as much impact as the digital presentation frame done previously. Therefore, Format created, in contrast to Lokomotivværkstedets rustic and industrial steel exterior, a set-up inspired by nature. The summit was elegantly decorated with rustic wooden tables and botanic decorations as well as a custom designed wooden stage placed in the plenary room in front of three floor-to-ceiling windows that faced a lush and green scenery.
Format Agency delivered room design, exhibitor set-up and advise, stage coaching as well as advice on flow and presentations. Format Agency was also in charge of planning and executing the conference, including handling of venue, interior design, catering, AV/technique, entertainment and presentations.
