Through several years Telenor Copenhagen Marathon has been known as the most digital race in the world.
As main sponsor of the race, Telenor has found the digital experience extremely important. In 2019 Format Agency assisted Telenor in making the digital experience even greater by boosting engagement on social media.
By combining the technique of chip timing with video filmed by drones and cameras along the course, we created individual videos for each race participant who completed the race. Right after the race, each video was ready to be downloaded and directly shared on social media.
More than 42,000 individual videos were downloaded.
Format Agency created the creative concept and video framework and ensured the quality of the final template. We facilitated the collaboration of the race organizer, the sponsor, the production company and the race data provider, and we created a new product which accommodated the interests of everyone involved.
