For the 6th time, Format assisted Dansk Energi in developing, planning and executing their Energy Summit. The Energy Summit, which consists of a plenum room, 3 break-outs, an exhibition- and networking area, gathers the entire energy industry to discuss, network and develop the future Danish energy sector. Dansk Energi’s purpose was to break with the traditional way of viewing energy consumption and the energy sector. They wanted for the members to break with the usual way of thinking, to give them the opportunity to dream and imagine how the future energy consumption looks – using the consumer’s needs and experience as their point of reference. Format provided development of venue design, script, speaker sparring and complete planning and execution as well as the handling of all deliveries. The interior decorations created a physical frame that clearly defined the conference and separations of the different rooms, while supporting the theme by creating light, transparency and space for ideas and dreams. The interior decoration was made up of semi-transparent fabric which, besides defining the rooms, created the visual frame, by keeping the beautiful building visible, and through the use of printed motives which, via an inspiring expression, created associations to the subject. The day took off with a flash mob in the plenum room where a DJ and 40 choir singers placed among the audience created an aesthetic interpretation of the song ‘Imagine’, which struck the tone of the subject and created the right atmosphere for a day devoted to dreams.
Gather the energy sector to shed light on the issues facing the energy industry and motivate members to induce change.
