Based on successful collaboration in both 2012 and 2013, Format was chosen as primary consulting and executing partner at RSA’s Leaders Meeting 2015 in Stockholm. Pursuant to our recommendation, the meeting focused entirely on leadership and the personal development of leaders within RSA, thus, the steps in the planning process were adjusted accordingly. Together with the internal steering committee, Format developed the overall concept and detailed structure of the 2-days conference which included plenary sessions, panel debates, interactive breakouts, experience-based sharing sessions, motivational speeches, workshops and networking dinner with entertainment. Furthermore, Format Agency delivered a complete implementation. Given the purpose of the conference, participants’ reflection upon self and others was of ultimate importance to the outcome. The backbone of the conference was a personal book for thoughts and notes that was activated by post-sessional reflection time and 1-to-1 dialogues throughout the program as well as post-conference commitments. Departing from the notion of personal leadership and with emphasis on 3 clear-cut principles of leadership, the conference helped to align leadership styles within the organisation and demonstrate the direct link between good leadership and desired business performance for the participating leaders.
