We’re proud to help Alliance of Democracies advocate for democracy. Once again we’ve taken part in developing, planning and executing Copenhagen Democracy Summit. Copenhagen Democracy Summit The summit is a key initiative of Alliance of Democracies’ effort to promote and endorse democratic development on a global scale. The summit functions as a rallying point for stakeholders and defenders of democracy. It’s a manifestation to the world, where the foundation shows its true purpose by allocating time and attention to people fighting for democracy. To founder Anders Fogh Rasmussen, former Danish Prime Minister and former Secretary General of NATO, it’s extremely important that the summit reflects the importance of fighting for democracy. At the same time, the summit is a global platform for presentations and debates, which involves all supporters democracy - including the ones following the summit without attending physically. This calls for a high level production, which underpins the many ambitions and delivers a completed experience for speakers as well as all attendees. Not to mention the technical production, which apart from demanding high quality of light, sound and AV requires extra services that communicate the content of the conference while also involving the audience. Technical production at Copenhagen Democracy Summit 2019 On top of the typical technical production, we delivered features that enabled the summit to showcase how technology has changed democratic processes, and at the same time made involvement on a global scale possible. The AV production contained seamless execution of presentations and videos. On top of that we executed a fake skype interview the the American president in a set-up, which combined a graphic frame with live broadcasting of the moderator on stage and a “deep-fake” video developed with artificial intelligence. By asking questions through Alliance of Democracies’ app the participants were able to take part in the debates. The questions were then sorted after relevance and shown on a monitor only visible to the moderator. In this way the moderator was able to secure the best content and experience for the audience, by having complete control over flow and content, and being able to fully focus on the debates without having to deal with all incoming questions. Participants outside the given hall was able to participate in the summit via streaming of the conference to social media. The viewers could actively take part in the debates, just like the participants in the hall by writing questions directly in the live feed. The questions were instantly posted on stage along the questions of the audience in the hall.
