Microsoft Teams is a communication platform that supports the agile and flexible form of collaboration, used by more and more companies today. To introduce the product to their existing and potential clients, they invited 90 people to an event, which was purposed to inspire and provide insight into the development and tendencies within communication and people skills. The purpose was to increase understanding and openness towards the communication form supported by Teams, while rendering the potential thereof visible. Among others, there were contributions from futurologist Emilie Van Hauen, journalist and author Morten Bay and CEO of AskCody Allan Mørch. Format was assigned to create a conceptual frame for the event, activate the concept by involving the participants as well as producing content which communicated the advantages of using Teams as a communication tool in a credible way. We developed • A conceptual frame for the arrangement that was activated both before, during and after the event. • Elements which activated the concept, including: Templates for recording a teaser film, visualization of the apps that are part of Teams, in order for the décor of the venue to match the content. • A forum for both speakers and participants, where they could communicate, ask questions and acquire presentations while testing the product. • A case film which, using an actual company who uses Teams as a point of reference, documents the advantages of using the product. The collaboration with Format regarding the launch resulted in Microsoft, as the sender of relevant inspiration and knowledge, created a natural incentive among the target group to try the product.
